If you love one God who revealed himself to Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and so on why would you reject his people, laws and laws of the holy land?
Leviticus 25:1-2 And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, 2
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.
Leviticus 26:9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
The Old Covenant, Old Testament laws given to Israel are for the nation of Israel not NT Christians. It is the same God just a New Covenant, one that includes all men not just Jews.
Ephesians 2:14-15 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
We, as those that have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ, that was the virgin-born Son of God, that he died for our sins, was buried, and rose again, are given instructions on how to live which reflect the nature of the law given to Israel.
Christians are neither Jew nor Gentile.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
All the law is contained in two commandments: love God, love others as yourself. There is no need for any other law.
Mark 12:30-31 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
