And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Revelation 12:4
Stars can be the physical lights in the night sky but can also represent beings.
Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
Numbers 24:17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
In Numbers 24:17 the term “Star” and “Sceptre” represent Christ Jesus.
Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
The dragon is Satan and the stars are those beings (angels) that rebelled with him.
