Are you diligently studying God’s word, if you are you will be rewarded with understanding.
We are looking for three things in the study of God’s word: knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Knowledge, know what the Bible says, read it, whether you understand it or not. The more you know what it says, the more you will understand. The more you understand, the more wisdom you will have in how to use and apply it.
God has determined that divine things should enter through the heart into the mind, and not through the mind into the heart. In divine things, therefore, it is necessary to love them in order to know them.
