For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Hebrews 2:16
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 2:9
I do not understand your question; however, it may be a version thing. The verse does not mention helping or not helping angels.
If you are reading something like the follow, you are using the wrong Bible.
Hebrews 2:16 ESV For surely it is not angels that he helps, but he helps the offspring of Abraham.
The Word became a man in the being of the Son of God to die for our sins as angels do not die.
Luke 20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Galatians 4:4-5 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
I would stick with the King James Version if you want the truth.
