Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
1 Corinthians 6:9
What does Apostle Paul mean when he says,
“abusers of themselves with mankind”?
It is a reference to Homosexuality.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Biblically, homosexuality is a sin, just as fornication (sex outside of marriage) or adultery. Sin is sin.
Many Christians have the wrong idea about witnessing. It makes no difference to me if you chose to reject God’s words and law. It does, however, make a difference to me if I fail to warn you of God’s judgment to come on all unrighteousness. In other words, it is not for Christians to force compliance of God’s law, but to extend the offer of God’s grace to others.
2 Timothy 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Too many Christians fail to remember we just plant and water, both gentle occupations, you do not plant with a backhoe or water with a fire hose. It is God who gives the increase.
The servant of the Lord must not strive;
be gentle, apt to teach, patient, meek.
This does not mean you do not have the same rights as any other American to vote for and petition the government and politically fight for what you believe is best for the country. Just be careful how you do things or what you drag Christ Jesus into!!
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
