Everything is contingent on God’s will, or the rules he has established all things upon. God has said, “thou shalt do no murder,” so he will not respect a request to be allowed to murder someone.
God is not making the same mistake Herod did.
Matthew 14:7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.
God has sworn some things with an oath but not in this case, in this case there are conditions.
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
