Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

3 John 1:3-4 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. 4I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
Your soul prospering is speaking or your spiritual health and prosperity which is determined by whether you love God and live right and serve the Lord. It was reported to John that Gaius was saved and walking in the faith. His soul was prospering for this. John desired that his health would prosper even as his soul was.
