A Fellowship in Christ Jesus,
IN the World, Not of the World

All Scripture Reference are KJV
unless otherwise noted

Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Malachi 3:16

Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

Where in the Old Testament does it teach
that women are not allowed to preach?

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1 Corinthians 14:34

It is not just Paul’s opinion but according to the law also. Of course, the only law he would be speaking of is that of God as given by Moses.

1 Timothy 2:11-14 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

It is obviously part of the punishment for Eve’s transgression, brought upon all women.

This prohibition does not stop a woman from witnessing (prophesying). One of the faults of Israel was they liberated their women, kind of like America.

Isaiah 3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

Please, do not impute misogyny to me. I believe men have an obligation to make it easy for women to obey their commandments by being gentle, kind, and patient. Not that I do not fail miserably at times. If men had not failed in their responsibility, most women would not have felt the need to liberate. IMHO
