Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Malachi 3:16

Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

Genesis 1:31 vs Genesis 6:6?

Genesis 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Genesis 1:31

And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Genesis 6:6

Everything was hunky-dory until man screwed it up.

Before the fall, everything was very good. With the fall came disappointment. There is the belief that because God knows everything before it happens, He cannot be disappointed. This is due to the lack of critical thinking and/or not having raised children. Take note that having raise children properly is one of the qualifications for Bishop.

Anyone who has raised a child knows that you want them to make the correct choices but you know that in any given situation your child will not. Even knowing this, you are still disappointed.

However, God knowing all before it happens is an error in reason. What benefit to the Lord would creation be if all was predetermined and predestinated?

The Lord sets choices before us with the consequence of them predetermined. What choice we make is of our own free will.
